These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the New York Institute of Banking and Finance website, courses, and certificate programs (collectively, the "Services"). By enrolling in a course or using the site, you agree to these Terms.
When you enroll in a self-paced course, you receive access to course materials for the duration stated on the course page. Live and virtual cohort classes are delivered on the scheduled dates communicated at enrollment.
Course fees are stated on each course page in US dollars. We do not take card payments through this site: places are confirmed by the registrar and invoiced directly, payable by bank transfer before access opens. Where a program forms part of a certificate track, the fee shown on that course page is the fee payable for it. How enrollment works.
We would rather you were on the right course than kept on the wrong one. The policy below applies to individual enrollments purchased directly through this site.
You may request a refund within 14 business days of your enrollment date. What you receive depends on how much of the course you have completed at the point the request is received:
Requests received more than 14 business days after the enrollment date cannot be refunded, regardless of completion.
Completion is calculated from the lessons you have marked complete, as a percentage of the lessons in that course. The figure shown on your dashboard is the figure we use, so you can check your own position at any time before requesting a refund.
Cohort places are limited and are reserved in your name, so refunds are based on the class start date rather than on completion:
If we cancel or reschedule a cohort, you may transfer to a later cohort at no cost or take a full refund, whichever you prefer.
Email info@nyibf.org from the address on your account, stating the course name. You do not need to give a reason. We will acknowledge within 2 business days and, where a refund is due, process it within 10 business days to the original payment method. Refunds cannot be issued to a different card or account.
Nothing in this policy removes or limits any cancellation or withdrawal right you hold under the consumer law of your own country. Where a statutory right gives you more than this policy does, the statutory right applies.
Certificates of completion are issued upon meeting the stated requirements for a given program, which may include assessments, attendance, or project submissions.
All course content, materials, and the institute's name and marks are the property of New York Institute of Banking and Finance and may not be reproduced without permission.
Course content is provided for educational purposes and does not constitute financial, legal, or investment advice. The institute is not liable for career or business outcomes resulting from course participation.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
