About the Institute
Founded to train Wall Street's own, NYIBF has grown into an independent institute serving finance professionals worldwide — in person, live-virtual, and self-paced.
Every course is built and taught by people who have worked the desks, run the deals, and managed the books they teach about. We measure our programs by one thing: whether graduates can perform on day one.
Today, alumni work across bulge-bracket banks, boutique advisories, asset managers, hedge funds, and fintech firms around the world.
Faculty
Every course is written and taught by someone who did the work first. Our instructors are selected on direct desk experience in the discipline they teach, and each is re-evaluated as the course material is revised.
Goldman Sachs
20+ years structuring cross-border transactions before moving into full-time teaching. Leads the M&A and Investment Banking tracks.
Morgan Stanley
A decade on the trading floor, translated into our Derivatives & Options curriculum, from vanilla payoffs through to exotics and model risk.
Deloitte
Built enterprise risk and model governance frameworks for regulated institutions — now the backbone of our Risk Management certificate track.
UBS Global Wealth Management
Advised multi-generational and cross-border families, and wrote our Wealth Management and Private Banking programmes.
Vanguard
Ran strategic and tactical allocation for institutional mandates. Teaches our Asset Allocation and Portfolio Management courses.
Global Presence
Cohorts run across four financial centres, so a live class is always within a workable time zone — and our self-paced tracks are open wherever you are.
Enterprise
Custom cohorts, on-site or virtual, built around your firm's priorities — from onboarding new analysts to retraining teams around new regulation.
